Our club
Wrenthorpe Girls and Ladies cc is an established and ambitious Yorkshire cricket club that has been promoting girls cricket since 2003 and Ladies senior cricket since 2012. cricket goes in cycles and we are very much looking forward to bridging the gap between junior and senior cricket in 2023 with the introduction of new teams at u9/u11 level. .

Historically, Wrenthorpe has been a beacon of excellence for girls and ladies cricket in Yorkshire and 40 of our players have played county cricket and three current international cricketers have played at Wrenthorpe.. Our junior u15's teams and open age teams have faired well in ECB National competitions and we have a strong reputation for quality cricket in the North of England. and the UK. We are excited that 2023 will mark our 20th year developing female cricketers in the Wakefield area. All are welcome at our club.. Our training times
Training for 2023 season will begin indoors in January for seniors (Details to follow).
Girls u9/u11 training information to follow but typically it is Friday nights from April at 6pm (more information to follow).
U115/U19 and Senior Ladies training will be Wednesdays 6pm from April.
All players, regardless of ability are welcome.
